Orders are shipped using Canada Post. The Soap Hut endeavors to ship within 2 business days after receiving payment.
All orders will be shipped to the address you mentioned in your order, unless otherwise specified. Please verify your address is correct upon checkout to avoid delays in shipping. 

As our Handmade Soap products are Cold Process Soaps, should we be out of stock of a particular soap, the Cold Process method requires a curing time of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. As The Soap Hut is dedicated to providing the best possible customer service, and we will advise of any inventory or delivery issues.

We take care to package your items with care to ensure your items reach you safely. 
Orders are shipped by Canada Post,  unless previously discussed. If you receive an item that is damaged and it is obvious it occurred during handling by the carrier, you as the receiver are responsible for filing a claim with the carrier.

Payment accepted via PayPal and processed at the time of ordering. Prompt payment is appreciated. If payment for goods is not received within 7 days, your order will be canceled by The Soap Hut.
PayPal is a secure online payment processing company. The Soap Hut will never see your credit card or payment information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to submit a payment as PayPal accepts most credit cards.

We can also submit a Square invoice if preferred. Please email us prior to placing an order, and we can discuss this option.

For local deliveries and pickups, cash is also an option.

 If you find that you need to cancel an order, please let us know as soon as possible. If your order has already shipped, cancellation is not possible, but we would be pleased to discuss the possible return or exchange of your order

As The Soap Hut is a very small company specializing in hand-made soap and bath products, we are not required to collect HST or sales tax - for everyone's benefit!

Refunds and Exchanges:

The Soap Hut wants you to be completely happy with your order, the products and our customer service. If, for some reason you are not completely satisfied, please use the “Contact Us” page or email us at with any concerns and we will address any situation promptly.

Given the nature of our goods, returns and exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Generally, items must be in the same, unused condition as when purchased. 

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, we will issue a full refund less original shipping or exchange the items within 30 days of original receipt. Please note the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. Refunds will be issued once items have been received and inspected. We reserve the right to deny returns if the item has been used and is no longer in sellable condition. When returning items to us, you are advised to obtain proof of shipment, as The Soap Hut cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
